My work -"Dragon gun" (2012), (about one and half month of work)
Antique guns are often was decorated with bas-relief images of the dragons. Here, in this work the dragon is holding in his mouth a cannonball.
Integral knife of Dr. Fred Carter is cast with guard from 440C dendritic steel in satin finish.
Sculptural handle carved from colored boxwood, dragon eyes inlaid with black mother of pearl.
Leather sheath is signed by Dr. Fred Carter.
Total size - 240mm, blade size – 105mm
